Seraphim: The Spirit of Unification
This year at the 10th Annual LA Burning Man Decompression Arts and Music Celebration WE will be burning a beautiful piece of art called Seraphim: The Spirit of Unification. (use the link for a full description and photos of the piece)
Everyone is welcome to participate whether they are a burner or not. There are several ways you can participate . . .
Put your art on the piece by decorating one of the vortex panels, gussets, or angels. [email protected]
Be a speaker or gift your troupes talents at Seraphim during Oct 8-12. [email protected]
Make a DONATION. We can not do it without generous donations by people like YOU!!! Our budget for Seraphim: The Spirit of Unification is $10,000. Every tiny donation gets us one step closer to our goal and becoming the first ever large scale ceremonial burn in Los Angeles.
Whether you can burn on playa or not, this is YOUR BURN! So lets practice Radical Participation and Radical Inclusivity while we Radically Express ourselves in our own home town.

If this is your first time attending Burning Man please read the Survival Guide and come prepared to participate whether you find a match with a theme camp or decide to go solo.

We have some phenomenally fun developments for our regional this year and cant wait to tell you about them; as I'm sure you too have something in the works for 2011, we cant wait to hear about it.

- Community classes - what classes would you like to see? What classes can you provide to the community?

These are but a few items on the Agenda. Please bring your ideas and thoughts to share.
At the end of the meeting we will have an ice cream social, so bring your own bowl and spoon and some toppings to share. And please bring your own water or beverage.
2012 BM Ticket Info
MAIN SALE -- 40,000 TICKETS SOLD VIA RANDOM SELECTION JANUARY 2012 -- $240/$320/$390 + s/h -- LIMIT 2 PER PERSON AT ALL TIERS
- Participants will register for the Main Sale during a two-week period from January 9 (at 12 noon PST) until January 22 (at 11:59pm PST), 2012 on http://tickets.burningman.com.
- Entrants will need to provide a valid credit or debit card number at the time of registration.
- During the registration process you will need to select the highest price you are willing to pay for tickets. You may be awarded tickets at that price or at a lower tier.

On or before February 1, a random selection will be conducted to award 40,000 tickets as follows:
- $240: 10,000 tickets
- $320: 15,000 tickets
- $390: 15,000 tickets
- If you are awarded tickets, your credit card will be charged for the total amount of your tickets at that time.
- All sales at all Tiers for the Main Sale are limit 2 per person.
- If you bought tickets in the Pre-Sale you are not eligible to buy tickets in the Main Sale.
- Those who are awarded tickets will receive notification on or by February 1 via email that their credit cards have been charged for their tickets and at which pricing tier.
- Any remaining tickets not claimed in the Main Sale will be moved into the allotment for the Secondary Open Sale.

BIG ART LABS, the new collective for art, events and media production in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles hopes you have a fantastic burn! Help us celebrate with a post-playa cleaning party. The lot is huge, a true gathering field. Come on down with your dusty gear, vinegar, share stories and photos, and enjoy the incredible community that is here in LA. We'll have a few bbq's onsite - just bring your favorite vittels and a beverage to share.
And if you missed the dust this year, come on down and get dusty.
